Aloha Family and Friends!

We made it 😊 Boy, was that a long flight. Lots of naps, snacks and phones. There is a five-hour difference between here and good ole Missouri. We are adjusting to that…woke up at 2 am to my stomach growling wondering why I hadn’t made breakfast yet! The weather is humid, 85 during the day and 75 at night. Our studio apartment for the week is just right. Our first meal consisted of calamari and mahi mahi. Both were delicious.

The flight in yesterday was really somethin’. To think we were over the ocean for hours. I kept opening my window shade to see if we could tell sky from ocean. Most of the time we were above the big fluffy clouds. Made me think about Genesis. God created all this. WOW. We watched the sunset over rolling waves last night. Behind us moss covered cliffs and lava rock. More adventures to come.

Now it’s time to find shrimp from a food truck and shave ice!
